I have been told I have an incisional
hernia. Do I need surgery to fix it?
Unfortunately, yes. These hernias can turn
serious anytime. Bowel can get trapped and make life hell. So best advice is
seek a good surgeon and see if he/she can fix it via a laparoscope. The
procedure will require time off. In the mean time, lose weight, avoid straining
and remain active.
